Description
The palmettos are mostly indigenous to Florida. The cabbage palmetto grows best in swamps and wooden areas and the saw palmetto is a low growing palm found in large areas of pines and along the coasts. The honey from saw palmetto is usually lemon yellow to light amber and has a distinct waxy sweet flower.
